Do You Have A Project We Can Help With?

Monterey, California

A leader in ocean conservation and education, the Monterey Bay Aquarium consists of over 200 exhibits and 80,000 plants and animals. Behind each exhibit, teams of Aquarium staff are innovating in the field of animal medicine, pioneering conservation work, and researching marine animals to expand humanity’s knowledge of the natural world so that we can preserve and protect it for future generations.

MDM Inc. has worked closely with the Monterey Bay Aquarium to audit their systems and identify the optimal pumps for each application. MDM now supplies the Aquarium with the majority of their LSS and process pumps for small to mid-sized systems and continues to maintain a close working relationship with their onsite staff.

PROJECT TYPE:

Public Aquaria

MDM EQUIPMENT USED:

“We have many MDM pumps in operation here at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, from small, fractional horsepower Advance series pumps for low flow and low-pressure loops, up to the larger Genesys® series pumps for higher flow applications. The folks at MDM work closely with us to determine the optimal pump selection for each application. I find their communications are timely and thoughtful, their pricing is competitive, and in the event that a problem develops with a pump, they make it right.”
